Channing members and friends joined with other UU Churches in traveling to Providence to participate in Rhode Island Pride, a day of expression and celebration of RI's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered communities, culminating in a grand Pride Parade before a crowd of 25,000 . Walden Pond Trip

On a fresh Saturday morning in late May, two dozen members and friends of Channing Memorial Church car pooled to Walden pond for a day of fellowship at Walden Pond. Organized by Susan Kieronski and led by Robert Thorson, the group enjoyed a day at the Pond, at the Olde Manse, and at Authors Ridge. Click here to see the pictures.
