| Coming of Age
Coming of Age is a program which leads eighth and ninth grade youth through the exploration of different spiritual and intellectual beliefs through the eyes of the Unitarian Universalist tradition. A two year program, the youth meet for social, learning and service activities. Youth also meet with adult mentors from the congregation. Coming of Age culminates in each youth delivering a credo statement to the congregation in a celebration of faith and community. Graduation from Coming of Age marks a transition out of childhood and eligibility for membership in the congregation. |
